This antique skein winder dates back to the 1800s. It is in great condition, solidly constructed. It has six arms, one of which has the traditional release joint to make it easier to remove your yarn once you've wound it. And (like its counterpart, our Antique Saxony Spinning Wheel) it's clear it has been very well cared for over the years. There are very few nicks in the wood (see photos) which is consistent with its age.

Due to its size, shipping costs would be prohibitive, so this skein winder is only available for in-store pick up here in Harleysville, PA (just a short drive from the Lansdale exit of the PA Turnpike, just north of Philadelphia). When you order, we will contact you to arrange pick-up, as our store hours vary from week to week.
